The Harrogate Regional Anaesthesia Course is a new and exciting option for anaesthetists to gain skills, knowledge and experience in regional anaesthesia. Our one day course is approved by the Yorkshire and Humber deanery. Candidates will be welcomed by our friendly team and given a multi-modal educational experience covering Plan A blocks, ultrasound physics from our sponsor Mindray, and opportunity to develop skills in needle control under ultrasound.
Abhinav Kant is a consultant anaesthetist at Harrogate District Hospital and is regional anaesthesia lead for the trust. He completed a fellowship in regional anaesthesia and is published in the field.
Alexander Grant is a senior anaesthetic registrar and has completed advanced training in regional anaesthesia and complex orthopaedic surgery. He has a postgraduate certificate in medical education and a background in nationally available teaching courses.
